Ranbir Kapoor is an Indian actor popular in bollywood. He
made his acting debut with Bhansali's 2007 tragic romance Saawariya for which
he was awarded his first Filmfare Award-Best Male Debut. He has a huge fan
following which made him the most hottest star in Bollywood. This youth icon is
considered as the Bollywood's next superstar. Now he will be seen in movies

Biography
Scion of Kapoor family, Ranbir was born on 28 September
1982 in Mumbai to famous bollywood actors Neetu Singh and Rishi Kapoor. He is
the great-grandson of Prithviraj Kapoor and grandson of actor-director Raj
Kapoor. He has an elder sister, Riddhima Kapoor, a fashion designer. His
paternal cousins are actress Karisma Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor.
Career
Ranbir has started his career as an assistant director to
Sanjay Leela Bhansali for the movie Black in 2005. After the release of Black,
Bhansali casted him as the main lead in Saawariya alongside Sonam Kapoor and
Rani Mukerji which was not a big hit but he earned a lot of appreciation from
critics. Then he was seen as lover boy in Bachna Ae Haseeno opposite Deepika
Padukone, Bipasha Basu and Minisha Lamba.
In 2009, this dashing star acted in Ayan mukherjee's film
Wake Up Sid opposite Konakana sen and the film was a big commercial success
followed by Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani and Rocket Singh : Salesman of the Year.
Later, Kapoor has proved himself as an immense versatile actor in movies like
Rajneeti, Rockstar and Barfi. He gave some fabulous performances in the movies.

Ranbir Kapoor was at a health spa in Austria recently, at
Katrina Kaif's insistence, for a treatment that has made him stop smoking. As
per the reports, Katrina had heard from Aditya Chopra about this health centre
which had a certain type of treatment that made chain-smokers kick the butt
completely. She urged Ranbir to try it out. It is learnt that part of the
treatment is to inject the smoker behind his/her ears. The injections makes a
smoker quit smoking. Ranbir and Katrina flew off to the spa via Germany before
her birthday and spent more than a week there. While Katrina did a few detox
sessions, Ranbir took the stop-smoking injections. Now it's almost three weeks
and Ranbir has not smoked.
Education Qualification
Ranbir did his schooling from Bombay Scottish School,
Mahim. He attended HR College before setting off to New York to pursue a course
in acting and direction at Lee Strasberg Institute and School of Visual Arts
where he made about 300 short films. He chose the school because of its
"colorful website." In school, Ranbir barely managed to scrape
through his classes, though he was the first male from the Kapoor family to
graduate tenth grade. He was very good at football and even played at the
district level.
In Ae Dil Hai Mushkil Movie
Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is an upcoming Bollywood romantic film
directed by Karan Johar and produced by Dharma Productions. The filmmaker Karan
Johar has roped Ranbir Kapoor and Anushka Sharma along with Aishwarya Rai
Bachchan in this new project. The movie is about falling in love with a person
intensively and heartbreaks. As per reports, Aishwarya Rai will be seen playing
a role of Ranbir's wife in the movie and Anushka would be Ranbir's girlfriend.
Girlfriend/ Marriage
Ranbir Kapoor has always kept silence about his
relationship with Katrina Kaif. But recently, he confirmed that he is tying the
knot with Katrina in 2016. In an interview Ranbir said, "This year,
there's a lot of pressure on me because of work. I feel I won't be able to make
the time. I'm thinking of getting married towards the end of next year. Till
now, that's the plan for me and her."
But it seems the actor was misquoted because now he has
said that he has no plans of getting married. He told, "The media is
planning to get me married for the past 5 years. But there is no truth in it. I
heard that some paper claimed that I confirmed the news but I am telling you
that I haven't made any such statement."
