Arjun Kapoor is an Indian actor who appears in Hindi
films. The actor shot to fame with his debut movie Ishaqzade opposite Parineeti
Chopra. Later he was seen in the film Gunday alongwith Ranveer Singh and
Priyanka Chopra, 2 States opposite Alia Bhatt and Tevar opposite Sonakshi
Sinha. Now he will be seen in R Balki's Ka & Ki opposite Kareena Kapoor.
Arjun Kapoor was born on 26 June 1985 in Chembur, Mumbai
to the Indian film producer Boney Kapoor and Mona Shourie Kapoor. His mother
Mona passed away due to cancer on March 25, 2012 before his debut film
'Ishaqzaade' could hit the theatres. Before making his debut as an actor, he
has worked as assistant producer and assistant director in few films like
Shakti : The Power, Kal Ho Naa Ho and Salaam-E-Ishq. Prior to acting, Kapoor
aspired to become a director. He has a younger sister named Anshula Kapoor.

Family
Arjun is the step-son of beautiful actress Sridevi. He
also has two half sisters Jhanvi and Khushi Kapoor, daughters of Boney Kapoor
and Sridevi. He is the grandson of the filmmaker Surinder Kapoor. He is the
nephew of actors Anil Kapoor, Sanjay Kapoor and producer Sandeep Marwah. Arjun
shares a strong bonding with all of his sisters especially, stylish diva Sonam
Kapoor. He has a dream to do a film with his uncle Anil Kapoor.
In an interview Arjun spoke about his equation with his
step mother Sridevi. However, he admits that he has respect for Sridevi but she
will always be his father's wife.
Career
Arjun Kapoor began his career as an assistant director
for Kal Ho Naa Ho in 2003 and then as an associate producer for No Entry
(2005), which was followed by Wanted (2009) starring Salman Khan and Ayesha
Takia. He has also co-produced the fim Milenge Milenge (2010) which starred
Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor. He is an alumni of the Asian Academy of Film
and Television. Arjun believes that it was Salman Khan who made him what he is
today, from being an overweight guy to being a successful young prospect in the
filmdom. Kapoor made his acting debut with Habib Faisal's Ishaqzaade. Then he
portrayed dual roles in Atul Sabharwal's crime thriller Aurangzeb (2013). After
that he has appeared in movie like Gunday, 2 States, Finding Fanny and Tevar.
In R Balki's Ka & Ki
Arjun Kapoor has signed R Balki's next film opposite
Kareena Kapoor Khan. Though the love story is titled Ka & Ki, it is set in
North India and Balki will start shooting it in July this year for release in
2016. Apparently the 2 States actor is quite excited about this project and
can't wait for it to roll as it is a light-hearted love story with lot of
laughs.
According to reports, Kareena will be seen playing the
head honcho of a corporate firm, while Arjun, who plays her better-half, will
be a 'house husband'!

Ishaqzaada Arjun Kapoor is yet to experience love in real
life but if reports are to be believed then, he has been in a serious
relationship with Salman Khan's sister Arpita Khan. Arjun and Arpita started

In Finding Fanny
Arjun Kapoor was seen in an English/Hindi satirical film
Finding Fanny, directed and written by Homi Adajania. Deepika Padukone,
Naseeruddin Shah, Dimple Kapadia and Pankaj Kapur featured in prominent roles.
The film was based on a road trip set in Goa and follows the journey of five
characters. Arjun played the role of a bitter mechanic 'Savio Da Gama' in the
film.
